Hello Tiger Families!

 

I'm Amber Whitten, and I feel honored to be a part of Manhattan schools and the community of Manhattan. As a school counselor, I believe that students are the experts of their lived experiences, and I strive to build collaborative, safe relationships with students, teachers, and staff.

I grew up in the Gallatin Valley, graduated from Montana State with a Bachelor of Science in sociology, and obtained my Master of Education (M.Ed) in 2023. Go Cats!! My professional experiences include working at the elementary and middle school levels.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Justin, who is a Ph.D. Candidate at MSU in Exercise and Sports Science. I also enjoy cuddling with my cat Kilo, hiking, reading, and going to the gym. Additionally, I will be the assistant girls’ basketball coach this school year! Go Tigers!
