The Gallatin Valley Food Bank/HRDC offers a free KIDSPACK program to students and families that would like snacks and simple meals to prepare over the weekend. Your student can pick up a food pack from their school counselor’s office on Thursday afternoons.   This program is free, discreet, and confidential. The bags contain healthy, non-perishable, kid friendly items  that are easy to prepare.  Signing up is easy, just fill out this google form!

The purpose of this School Counseling Needs Assessment is to gather insights from staff to identify the most critical areas where students require support. The information collected will guide the development and enhancement of our counseling services, ensuring that we effectively address the academic, social/emotional, and behavioral needs of our students. Your feedback is essential in helping us prioritize resources and interventions to best support our school community.

Informed consent is a crucial part of the counseling process. It ensures you understand and agree to the services provided. Here’s a brief overview:

  1. Clear Information: We will explain the goals and methods of counseling, so you know what to expect.

  2. Confidentiality: We will detail how we protect your child’s privacy, and any exceptions to this confidentiality, such as mandatory reporting requirements.

  3. Voluntary Participation: Participation in counseling is entirely voluntary. You or your child can withdraw at any time without any negative consequences.

  4. Agreement: You will review and sign a consent form that confirms you understand and agree to the counseling process.

This process helps build trust and ensures that you are fully informed and comfortable with the counseling services provided.
